A SCARCE EARLY 1933 PATTERN DRESS DAGGER FOR THE GERMAN S.A.,
manufactured 1933/34, with 8 1/2in. double-edged blade with deeply etched motto 'ALLES FUR DEUTSCHLAND' (everything for Germany), the reverse with the Sauer trademark oval over 'GEGR. 1751', nickel-silver furniture, the lower guard marked 'Sa' for Sachsen area, swamped walnut grip with inlaid eagle device and early bronze 'SA' medallion and brown painted scabbard with plated fittings (period but possibly later)
